You are not alone. When you’re fighting an uphill battle and feel like you just can’t go on, God is with you.

Each of us have a race to run. However, we can choose how we run that race.

Be strong and take heart for the Lord is my light and my salvation.

When the storms of life threaten to overwhelm you and hopelessness is all you know, there is One who can bring peace to troubled lives. Jesus spoke the winds and the waves into submission, and He can calm your storm too. Just ask Him.

When the storms of life rage, remember He is with you. When you struggle until you have no energy left to give, He is with you. When you feel alone and think that God doesn’t care, He is with you. So take heart . . . He is with you!

It’s time to get rid of all the gunk—the dirt, the grime, the residue of old ways. That is not you anymore. You’ve been cleaned. You’ve been changed. You’ve tasted what is good and real and true. So live free.

Whatever it is that you do—do it well. Do it with purpose. Do it for Him. And at the end of the day, you can say, “It was good.”

Seconds can drag on and years can fly by. We know we are on this earth for just a moment. And we don’t know when that moment will end. So, God, help us to turn to you, to seek your wisdom. As Psalm 39:7 says, “My hope is in you.”

We all have our own agenda. We want certain things, and God even invites us to pray very specifically, right?
